Ammos Hotel is a small elegant resort fully renovated in 2006 by the architect Elisa Manolas. Located ideally on the sandy beach, in the magnificent bay of Agii Apostoli, it is only 5 km away from the historical centre and the Venetian port of Hania. Understated design, attention to detail, instinctive hospitality, great dining and a very personal approach are the ingredients which make Ammos Hotel a unique hideaway.

Our main goal, over the years, has always been to create a sophisticated and yet discreet and tranquil environment for the modern individual traveler. After our last renovation the possible room options are: Twin garden view studio, twin sea view studio, honeymoon studio and garden view suite.

Ammos (which means sand in Greek) is proud of its location, right on the sandy beach, far away from the noisy main road and yet only 5 Km from the Venetian harbour and the city of Chania, 1 Km from the cute little village of Galatas and 4 Km from the village of Platanias (the centre of night life). Our restaurant's main goal has always been to combine the world known Cretan cuisine with the demands of our international clientele. Simplicity, freshness, fine ingredients (very often bought from mountain villages), unpretentious and yet meticulous presentation, impeccable and still effortless and smiling service. Right on the beachfront, accompanied by the soundtrack of the moving sea and the backdrop of a beautiful sunset, our restaurant is really one of the things that makes us proud. Ammos bar-restaurant stays open all day long. We start early in the morning with a choice of 3 breakfast options and we continue serving till late into the night (the restaurant also caters for our guests at the pool and beach area)
