Around Milos tour by boat
General Description
This beautiful boat trip around Milos allows passengers to see very impressive spots, where tourists rarely go, and swim in purely crystal waters.
Klima and Arkoudes Rock
We depart from the port of Adamas at 09:00 am. As we leave the port, we see at the shore the beautiful fishing villages of Skinopi, Klima, Areti and Fourkovouni, with their special architecture. These villages have houses of white walls and colorful window shutters, while at the ground floor they have boat garages called syrmata.
As we sail to the north west, we see a complex of lava rocks with strange shapes called Arkoudes. Following our trip, on the right we see the beautiful beach of Plathiena and on the left we see two small islands called Akradies.
Glaronisia
We open the sails and at 10:00 am we arrive at Glaronissia, a unique complex of volcanic islands with special geology. We swim in the fantastic crystal waters of the Aegean Sea and can use the snorkeling equipment for explore the sea bottom. We stay about 30 min and Glaronissia and then we set sail for the paradisial island of Poliegos. On board we can enjoy a cup of coffee.
Poliegos
We arrive at Poliegos at 11:45 am and swim at the famous blue waters that remind of an endless swimming pool. We stay for 45 min and, apart from swimming, you can also enjoy a sandwich and fruit juice on board. At 12:30 pm we sail along the eastern coasts of Milos and at 13:15 pm we arrive at the colourful beach of Firligos. After a 30 min swim in amazing turquoise waters and a refreshing juice on board, we depart to the south at 14:45 pm.
Gerakas and Kleftiko Sea Caves
Heading to the southern side of Milos island, we pass the beaches of Paleochori and Agia Kyriaki. At 15:15 pm we make a 30 min stop at the fantastic beach of Gerakas, which is inaccessible by other means than boat. While enjoying the sea and sun, we taste local delicacies with ouzo or wine.
At 15:45 pm we depart for Kleftiko, a fantastic sea region with caves and underwater passages. We arrive at Kleftiko at 16:15 and for the next hour we swim in crystal waters and explore the numerous sea caves that used to be a pirate hideout for thousand years. Then it is time for lunch on board, with traditional dishes and sea food.
Sunset time
At 17:45 pm we depart for the return trip to Adamas port. On our sail back, we tour the amazing beaches on the western coast of Milos (Sikia, Agios Ioannis, Triades, Agathia) and enjoy the romantic sunset on board, tasting the famous homemade ice-cream by Aggeliki.
We arrive in Adamas at 20:00 pm.
