How to get to Platis Gialos Beach

There are many different ways to get to Platis Gialos from any location on the island.
Airport to Platis Gialos: 3 km / 1.8 miles | New Port to Platis Gialos: 7.5 km / 4.6 miles | Town to Platis Gialos: 5 km / 3.1 miles

Private transfers: We recommend using an online pre-booked transfer service, which provides transfer by taxi, minibus, or private VIP car and arranging a pickup directly from the port, airport, or your hotel. Alternatively, there’s the option of arranging a pickup by a local driver at the following numbers: 0030 694 764 1474, 0030 22890 22400, or booking your taxi online.

Car rental: There’s the option of renting a car and picking it up directly from the airport, port, or your hotel. Using a car rental allows visitors to discover Platis Gialos and many other places of interest at their own pace.

Public transfers: In Platis Gialos lies the terminal of the bus route Mykonos town (Fabrika) > Platis Gialos. Note that there are two central bus stations in Mykonos town: Fabrika and Old Port. Several buses depart from Fabrika to Platis Gialos during the day. Itineraries might change according to the season. Check the official timetables here.
From Mykonos airport to Platis Gialos: There’s a bus station outside the airport’s main terminal building. The bus route Airport > New Port (approximately every 1.5 hours) takes visitors to Fabrika central station (second stop). From Fabrika, visitors should board another bus to reach Platis Gialos, following the route Mykonos town (Fabrika) > Platis Gialos.
From Mykonos new port (in Tourlos) to Platis Gialos: The bus station is located at the new port of Mykonos, a 3-minute walk away from the passenger disembarkation area. From there, visitors who have arrived by ferry can take the bus route New Port > Airport (approximately every hour) and get off after 3 stops. From there, visitors need to reach the bus station of Fabrika (a 15-minute walk). From Fabrika, visitors should board another bus to reach Platis Gialos, following the route Mykonos town (Fabrika) > Platis Gialos.
Tip: Since buses don’t always stop at every scheduled stop of their itinerary, our advice to visitors is to inform the driver about their final destination in advance.

Water taxi: You can get to Super Paradise by water taxi as it is on the route: Old port (Chora), Platis Gialos, Paraga, Paradise, Super Paradise, Agrari, and Elia.
