How to get to Psarou Beach

There are many different ways to get to Psarou from any location on the island.
Airport to Psarou: 3.2 km / 1.9 miles | New Port to Psarou: 7 km / 4.3 miles | Town to Psarou: 4.4 km / 2.7 miles

Private transfers: We recommend using an online pre-booked transfer service, which provides transfer by taxi, minibus, or private VIP car and arranging a pickup directly from the port, airport, or your hotel. Alternatively, there’s the option of arranging a pickup by a local driver at the following numbers: 0030 694 764 1474, 0030 22890 22400, or booking your taxi online.

Car rental: There’s the option of renting a car and picking it up directly from the airport, port, or your hotel. Using a car rental allows visitors to discover Psarou and many other places of interest at their own pace.

Public transfers: Platis Gialos is located next to Psarou beach (a 10-minute walk). In Platis Gialos lies the terminal of the bus route Mykonos town (Fabrika) > Platis Gialos. Note that there are two central bus stations in Mykonos town: Fabrika and Old Port. Several buses depart from Fabrika to Platis Gialos during the day. From Mykonos airport to Psarou: A bus station lies outside the main terminal building. The bus route Airport > New Port (approximately every 1.5 hours) takes visitors to Fabrika central station (second stop). From Fabrika, visitors should board another bus to reach Psarou, following the route Mykonos town (Fabrika) > Platis Gialos.
From Mykonos new port (in Tourlos) to Psarou: The bus station is located at the new port of Mykonos, a 3-minute walk away from the passenger disembarkation area. From there, visitors who have arrived by ferry can take the bus route New Port > Airport (approximately every hour) and get off after 3 stops. From there, visitors need to reach the bus station of Fabrica (a 15-minute walk). From Fabrika, visitors should board another bus to reach Psarou, following the route Mykonos town (Fabrika) > Platis Gialos.
Tip: Since buses don’t always stop at every scheduled stop of their itinerary, our advice to visitors is to inform the driver about their final destination in advance.
