Buses are the best option for visitors who wish to move around on a budget. Two kinds of buses are available in Corfu - the city buses (blue-colored) and the intercity buses (green-colored). They reach most areas of the island, including the most touristy beaches and villages, the airport and the ports. Excursion boats that depart from Town, Sidari and Agios Stefanos carry out routes to the Diapontian Islands (Ereikoussa, Othoni, Mathraki). Additionally, some small boats that depart from the Old Port of Corfu reach the nearby Vidos islet, while others leave from the port of Paleokastritsa and head to other regional beaches.
