General information

Perivolos beach in Santorini is the longest black beach in Santorini. It is located near Perissa (a mere 3 km away), lying on the southern end of the island, 10 km south of Fira. It distinguishes for its sparkling azure waters and tranquil atmosphere.
On the beachfront, there are numerous hotels, together with restaurants serving fresh fish and local delicacies and bars.
It is one of the most well-organized beaches of Santorini and offers a plethora of exciting watersports facilities like scuba diving and jet skiing.

Perivolos beach is easily reachable from Perissa. In case you don't have your own vehicle, there are local buses that can take you there. Those who are into walking can hike the path that passes through the countryside. It is a continuation of the beach of Perissa and Agios Georgios.

    Beautiful surroundings

    I went to Perivolos beach by foot, as my accommodation, Atlantis is located in the area. It took me about 30 seconds to get there on a good road and I had an enjoyable trip. I stayed in the area so I knew the way to get there and it was the closest one to our accommodation. The shore was long with pebbles, clear deep cold waters, beautiful surroundings, fully organized with sun beds and umbrella rentals. It was organized and unspoiled at the same time, clean, and windy. The amenities you could find were telephones, mini market, restaurants, cafes, bars, beach bar, clubs, water sports activities, hotels and other accommodations. The only thing we didn’t see was a bank, but maybe we missed it. It definitely met my expectations. My favorite thing about was the water and the sun. In my opinion this place is absolutely perfect.
