Paxi Logos

General information

Logos Village Paxi: Logos is one of the three main villages of Paxi, along with Gaios and Laka. It is very small but it has a lively harbour, especially popular in summer. The simplicity of Logos makes a nice contrast to the busy atmosphere of Gaios. The beaches around Logos have nice and safe water, ideal for swimming, boating, fishing and eating in seaside taverns. The beauty of the nearby pathways and surrounding areas provide a great environment to stroll around.

In addition, excursions around the island and to Parga, on the opposite coast, are organized in summer and it is also possible to hire a boat and visit the nearby coves and beaches on your own. Families with small children and couples usually find this location very suitable. It is true though that there isn't an intense nightlife there, since most bars are situated in Gaios, the capital of the island.

However, those of you who like tranquil activities will certainly appreciate Logos by night. The lights of the seaside taverns are reflected on the sea and the motor traffic noise decreases. Logos also hosts the International Music Festival, a popular event with classical music that is celebrated from late August to early September every year.

The Spring Music Festival is another important occasion, as it hosts qualified Greek performers and takes place usually in May. In addition, occasional jazz concerts are held on the village. In spite of its small size, Logos also has the necessary tourist facilities, from enough accommodation options to traditional taverns. There you will find anything you may need during your vacation and you will enjoy a relaxing environment.
