Kavourotrypes, also known as Orange beach, is a lovely place with exotic waters and white rock formations. It is found at the second leg of the peninsula.
The beach of Armenistis is located at the second peninsula of Halkidiki. It is widely famous for the many campings that line up the beach and for the exotic waters.
Mount Athos is a monastic community that coves the third leg of Halkidiki. Cruises to Mount Athos depart from Ouranoupolis and other smaller ports in the region.
The Byzantine tower of Ouranoupolis village is known as the Tower of Prosforio. It was built in the 14th century.
Afytos is among the most beautiful villages in Halkidiki. It is found at the first leg and gives breathtaking view to the Aegean Sea. Many nice beaches are found in the region.
The seaside town of Neos Marmaras is located at the second leg of Halkidiki. Many lovely beaches are found in the region and boat trips depart from the port of Neos Marmaras.
The large beach of Kalamitsi is found at the second leg of the peninsula. It distinguishes for the soft golden sand and the amazing, blue green waters. The largest part of the beach is unorganized.
Excavations in the Cave of Petralona revealed tools, bones and fossils from the Paleolithic times. Next to the cave there is an anthropological museum.
The tiny beach of Fava is near Vourvourou and offers an incredible scenery of forested mountains.
