lauravib 30 Sep 2010A boat trip awayA lovely village with small beach in front. We were told that the road to Diafani is bad, so went by boat from Pigadia, the capital of Karpathos. Then, the tour continues to Olympos, an amazing village in the mountains. Diafani has a small port with fishing boats, delicious taverns with fresh fish and some family hotels around. Some friends of mine stayed in a camping near Diafani, a bit far from civilization. Generally Diafani is somehow secluded from the rest of the island, which is part of its beauty I think. A lovely day trip to see some truly untouched part of Karpathos.
