You can reach Kalymnos by ferry from Piraeus port in Athens, as there are available routes approximately 3 times per week. However, the trip is quite long and lasts about 10 hours.
Apart from Athens, Kalymnos is also connected by ferry with some islands of the Dodecanese, including Rhodes, Kos, Leros, and Patmos.
Especially from Kos and more specifically from Mastihari port, there are very frequent routes to Kalymnos, about 2 to 3 times per day.
