Tinos Weather

Tinos weather: Tinos Greece has a very agreeable climate, like most of the Cycladic Island. It has a mild winter during which snow is very rare and the temperature almost never falls below 0 degrees. This only problem during winter is the thick fog in the area of the Falatados-Steni-Mesi plateau, the area of Mount Xobourgo and the mountainous area of Isternia-Panormos. Summer in Tinos Island is hot but very pleasant with the north winds called “meltemia” which are smoothing the high temperatures and make the climate of Tinos particularly healthy. The temperatures get quite chilly in the mountainous areas after sunset.
