How to get to Sikinos?

There is a quite regular ferry connection between Sikinos and Piraeus port, as ferry routes are carried out approximately 3 times per week. However, the duration of the trip is about 9 hours.
You can also reach Sikinos from other islands of the Cyclades complex, like Santorini, Folegandros, and Ios. The trip from Santorini to Sikinos lasts 2-3 hours.

There is no airport on the island of Sikinos. The closest one is spotted on Santorini.
Santorini National Airport (JTR), also known as Thira Airport, serves domestic flights between Athens and Santorini. It is also connected with many international airports around Europe. More specifically, there are direct flights to Santorini from France, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, The Netherlands, Italy and Latvia.
The airport is located on the northern side of Kamari village, near Monolithos, Perivolia and Exo Gonia villages.
From this point, you can reach the port of Santorini by public bus or by taxi, so as to take the ferry to Sikinos and reach your destination within 2 - 3 hours.
