Serifos is one of the least-known islands of the Cyclades, located between Kythnos and Sifnos. It is a rocky island that appears naked, blessed with low hills which are full of gorges, crowned by Mount Tourlos, on 483-meters altitude. The beautifully shaped capital with the Aegean architecture overlooks the port and offers visitors a warm welcome. The island is embraced by the traditional villages and the crystalline bays with excellent archaeological sites found between them.
Serifos is not a cosmopolitan destination but a place to get closer to nature through the hiking adventures and other activities. Most of the inhabitants are involved in agriculture and tourism. Serifos has a number of facilities in the capital and the traditional villages.
This section proposes a map of Serifos with all the major locations of the island.
