All over Kythnos, there are many Cycladic churches that depict the religious feeling of the inhabitants. The most famous is the church of Panagia Kanala, which is also the protector of the island.
Believed to be one of the biggest caves in Greece, Katafiki Cave was first encountered in the 1830s. It has unique and interesting stalagmites and rock formations. Till 1939, it was used as an iron mine. It is located in a walking distance from Driopida.
The Byzantine Ecclesiastical Museum is situated in Driopida and hosts holy icons, gospels, golden crosses of the 18th century and other ecclesiastical items.
