Location: On the northern side of the island

Description: Driopida is a mountainous picturesque village with narrow alleys and beautiful surroundings. It was the capital of Kythnos in the 19th century.
Loutra
Location: 6 km north of Chora
Description: This seaside village is the most tourist resort of the island. It is particularly known for its thermal spas, which are said to have healing properties.
Merichas
Location: 7 km south west of Chora
Description: Merihas is the main port of Kythnos and provides many tourists facilities. It is especially prefered by the young people for its nightlife.
Kanala
Location: 17 km south of Chora
Description: The church of Panagia Kanala, close to the village, is the protector of the whole island. The village has nice coves and the only pine forest on Kythnos.
Agia Irini
Location: 6 km north of Chora
Description: This small seaside village took its name from the chapel of Agia Irini, which is found close to the beach.
Agios Dimitrios
Location: 24 km south of Chora
Description: This is not actually a beach but a lovely tourist resort that stretches around a sandy beach.
