How to get to Folegandros?

There is a regular ferry connection between Folegandros and Piraeus port in Athens. The trip lasts from 6 to 8 hours, depending on whether you are traveling with a normal or high-speed ferry.
Folegandros is also connected with other islands of the Cyclades, like Santorini, Milos, Ios, and Sifnos.

Since Folegandros is a quite small island, there is no airport on it. The closest airport is spotted on Santorini. Santorini National Airport (JTR), also known as Thira Airport, serves domestic flights between Athens and Santorini. It is also connected with many international airports around Europe. More specifically, there are direct flights from Santorini to the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, The Netherlands, Italy and more.
The airport is located on the northern side of Kamari village, near Monolithos, Perivolia and Exo Gonia villages. From this point, you can reach the port of Santorini by public bus or by taxi, so as to take the ferry to Folegandros.
