There are two remote caves in Donoussa, the Cave of the Wall and the Cave of Fokospilia. However, there are both unreachable on foot and can be accessed only by excursion boat from the port.
The church of Holy Cross is the protector of the island. Located close to the port, this is a big church with a blue dome and a tall bell tower. Every year on September 14th, its name day, there is a big festival on the island, where locals and visitors participate.
The church of Virgin Mary and Agios Ioannis is built on a hill overlooking Donoussa village. The church was built in 1892 and from this location, you can get a nice view of the island and the sunset.
