Andros Beaches

Location: 1 km North of Ormos
Description: Tis Grias to Pidima is, hands down, the most popular and most photographed beach in Andros. It boasts an unspoiled setting, as it is not organized with umbrellas and sunbeds.

Location: 35 km north of Chora
Description: Visitors will find few facilities in Vitali, including a tavern that works only in summer months and some umbrellas and sun beds. The water is crystal and the beach is surrounded by rocky landscape.

Location: 30 km west of Chora
Description: This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Andros. It has golden sand and amazing crystal water.

Description: Sandy and with clean water, Zorkos is the ideal place to enjoy all the calmness and privacy you need in yor vacations. There is a small tavern there that works in summer months.

Description: One of the most famous beaches of Andros, Agios Petros has a long, sandy coastline and crystal water. This beach is developed as a tourist resort.

Location: 35 km north west of Chora
Description: This small bay is sometimes affected by summer winds, the so-called meltemia, but it is generally goods for swimming. In the surrounding region, there are few rooms to rent, while some taverns line the coast.

Description: The shore has soft white pebbles and the water is crystal, with blue green colorings. A small river ends close to this beach, creating an impressive biotope with plane trees.

Description: The seawater of Batsi is shallow, perfect for swimming and ideal for a family hangout. The sand is fine and soft.

Description: This is a small sandy beach, organized with tourism facilities. There are some hotels in the region and nice taverns.

Description: A secluded beach on the south western side of the island, Halkolimionas is located close to the village of Paleopolis. The coast is a bit rocky, which makes the beach more proper for snorkelling than swimming.

Description: With soft sand on the shore and crystal blue water, Vlychada stands out for its natural beauty and the abrupt landscape. Due to its remote location and the track road that leads there, it is visited by very few tourists.

Description: Located a couple of km from Chora, this is a nice beach with soft pebbles and crystal water. With many tourist facilities, including rooms to rent and delicious taverns, Gialia is a popular beach.

Description: Ormos beach is not famous famous for its picturesque landscape but also for the strong wind that makes this gulf ideal for windsurfing.

Description: The secluded beach of Agios Sostis is located on the north western side of the island, between the beaches of Kaminaki and Pisolimionas.

Description: The beach of Chora is long and sandy. It gives lovely view to the town, but sometimes it can be windy.

Description: Located on the north western side of Andros, in the region of Gavrio, Pyrgos can be reached through a track road. It took its name from the Venetian tower of Makrotantalos that now lays in ruins on a rock above the beach.

Description: Located between the beaches of Agios Sostis and Vlychada, Kaminaki is a small cove that gets frequently affected by northern summer winds.

Description: A small cove in close distance to Gavrio, the main port of Andros, Kourtali is the next bay to Fellos beach. With clean water and soft sand on the shore, it is surrounded by abrupt cliffside.

Description: Megali Peza is a secluded beach on the northern side of Andros Cyclades. A small beach with soft pebbles and crystal water, this is among the most beautiful beaches on the island.
