Amorgos Fokiotrypa beach

Fokiotrypa Beach Amorgos: Fokiotrypa is one of the best spots to swim in Amorgos. Located 15km north of Chora, this beach is located close to Aegialis, the second busiest village on the island. This is a rather small beach without umbrellas and sundecks, but with some delicious cafeterias and taverns just above it. Fokiotrypa is covered with sand but at the edge of the shore there are some pebbles.

The exotic blue green water is shallow and usually calm, making it a safe spot for the children. Surrounded by steep cliffs and wild landscape, Fokiotrypa is less busy than the neighboring beach of Aegialis. It is the perfect spot for the nature lovers who want to discover a different part of the island.
