summer 21 Sep 2010Catch the sunset from GiziAno Mera is the second largest village of Mykonos. Nothing to compare with the beauty of Chora, just a small village with white houses and a large square with traditional coffee houses. No great crowds, few rooms to rent and even fewer gift shops. Most hotels are located around Ano Mera. A nice trekking path is from Ano Mera to the Castle of Gizi, on a hill above the village. Go in the evening to catch the sunset. In the day, trekking will be very tiring. This part of Mykonos is really relaxing, not that crowded as the western spots and far from the big crowds.
