General Description

If you have enough time at your disposal during your stay in Santorini, you should consider participating in a cooking class under the guidance of an experienced chef.
That way, when you leave the island, you’ll carry traditional Greek recipes and culinary techniques along to execute and impress your friends.

Santorini Cooking Class and Wine-Tasting Tour starts with a visit to volcanic vineyards, where you can learn about the unique vine-growing on the island while strolling past the beautiful basket vines.
You will also pay a visit to two old wineries to sample some of the most renowned wines produced in Santorini, such as Vinsanto, Assyrtiko, and Nykteri.
When the wine-related part of the experience ends, you will head to a traditional restaurant where a local chef will show you how to cook like a Greek.
Of course, after the culinary lesson, you will savor the rewards of your efforts!
By engaging in this activity, you will also get to purchase olive oil and wine at reduced prices if you want to!

These dishes will be prepared with local products and usually include:
- Greek salad, Santorini version
- Tomato fritters, a traditional local appetizer
- Local pork fillet in sweet Vinsanto wine sauce. This dish can be replaced with a vegetarian dish upon request.

Notes
This is a small semi-private tour of max 8 and min 2 participants. Only one adult cannot book this tour. Children (less than 17 years old) are NOT allowed to participate in the tour.
The tour includes pick up/drop off from your Santorini hotel or cruise port in an air-conditioned modern minibus. The transfer is included in the price.
The whole experience lasts six hours.
