Don't miss visiting Karditsa in the Karditsa Annual Bazaar, late October, the Karaiskaki Folkloric celebration, on May 20^th to 30^th, the Children's Song Contest and the Book Exhibition in June, all in Karditsa. During the summer a major festival around the lake and the wine celebrations are truly worth it. In Palamas, the "Ragoutsaria" or "Rougatsia" (masquerading) are held in the winter, the "Lazariatika", the "Helidonismata", the Titania events, and the Karagouna wedding during the Carnival season offer unique experiences.
