Overview:
Salamina is the largest island of the Saronic Gulf island group and
it is mostly known for the naval battle that took place here. It is a mainly
wooded island, while the town of Salamina though the lively
preserved tradition is a modern resort with picturesque quarters bustling with
life during the summer season.
