Overview:
Florina, bordering with Albania and FYROM, has a
great abundance of historical sites and monuments, as well as beautiful natural
landscapes of wild chestnut trees. Altogether it is described by four mountains
and six lakes, with most attractive the Lakes of Prespa. It is also the city of
famous painters and sculptors, bustling with life, cultural events and
developing artistic activity. Though the very cold winter, Florina is a
beautiful picturesque area and has a lot to offer.

Special Events:
Amazing is the custom of huge
bonfires all around Florina town on December 23rd, as well as the
Festival of Local Dances in early June. Both are worth a visit in Florina.
