Overview:
Chalkidiki is a large
peninsula splitting into other three peninsulas, Kassandra, Sithonia and the
religious community of Agio Oros (Mount Athos) on the east.
Chalkidiki is the highlight of Macedonia, as it attracts
thousands of tourists every year. It combines the best beaches of the north,
secluded bays, unique natural beauties, picturesque villages and signs from the
historical past. Varied combinations of mountain and sea, quiet and vivid

When you visit Chalkidiki,
don't miss the Carnival of Poligiros on the last Carnival Sunday with the feast
continuing on Ash Monday on Kalyves beach, the Cherry Fair on May 15th-30th
in Geroplatanos village and the Kassandra Festival in the Siviri amphitheatre
in Kassandra during the summer.

Sithiona, Sykia, Ouranopolis, Toronti, Nea Roda, Ierissos in Stagiron Akanthos.
