Of the most significant cultural festivities are the Anniversary of the Unification on May 21^st, the Language and Art Festival and the International Folklore Festival during the summer and the Meeting of the Philharmonic Orchestras (July 19^th-21^st). Interesting are also the revival of a traditional wedding at Karya village on August 11^th and the Feast of Agios Spyridonas on December 12^th.
