We are Dimitris (Jimmy) and Niki, Nikos and Evyenia. Mum Niki is a local from Avliotes whilst Dad is from the mainland. After marrying, Jim and Niki went to live in Athens where the children were raised. 1987 saw the opening of Athens Bar in Corfu - this now being one of the longest running establishments in Agios Stefanos (San Stefanos). Initially we came to Corfu in the summer to open the Athens Bar, returning to Athens for the winter, until 1998 when we decided to live here permanently. We still have a place in Athens, but we only return to it for short periods to visit our friends there. All our feeling for the metropolis of Hellas and Hellenism inspired the name of the bar and will never go.
