Overview:
Symi, very close to Rhodes Island, is a small
picturesque island with lovely pictures and natural landscapes. It is mainly
mountainous; rocks, desert beaches, pines and tree-covered hills are to be
found. The island is linked with mythology and history, while the traditional
Greek island style describes the architecture of the houses.

event is the three-month long Symi Festival from July to September. Other
important festivities are held for the two-day feast of Pentecost and the Feast
of the Saviour on August 6th. Other religious celebrations
throughout the year.
