Katikiés is a settlement designed as an original copy of traditional popular old houses of Leros called in the past “katikiés”. The settlement consists of four studios, a one bedroom apartment and a two bedroom house. In the inside, wooden ceilings covered with bamboo and hand made tiles from the monastery of nearby island Patmos add a very special atmosphere. At the same time, 60 cm thick stone walls keep the apartment protected from heat. Katikiés is a family run accommodation and is self-catering only. We only provide cleaning and change linens. All studios and apartments have a fully equipped kitchen room, and for those who wish to take advantage of the facilities, the town's shopping center is only 200 m away. Each of the studio or apartment has an independent entrance and some have traditionally built outdoor barbecues. Finally, the settlement is provided with an immense parking space.
