Overview:

Koufonisia, are two small islands, Pano Koufonisi and Kato Koufonisi. Kato Koufonisi is uninhabited. With very little permanent residents that deal with fishing and the summertime with the tourism. Splendid beaches with exotic colours, taverns with fresh fishes, hospitable and smily persons awaits you, and will make you visit them again.

Beaches:
Starting from the beach of the port in Kato Koufonisi, every 5' we meet windless beaches, until we get to Pori, with the best sandy beach in the island. The beach of Charokopou, not far away from the port and the beach Platia Pounta are the most popular and crowded beaches in the island.

With a ferry-boat from Pireus in 8-15 hours.

Events:
If you find your self the last saturday of June in Koufonisia, you will enjoy the festival of the fisherman. With fresh fishes, drikns and live music with traditional rhythm. The shops are closed and the dances happens at the square and the roads.
