Seeking for the taste, the quality and the
care, we made in 1998 with a lot of taste, in a pleasant environment, 15 kms outside of
Heraklion in the village named Kato Gouves the traditional Tavern "MITHOS".
In our hospitable space, the flavours from the traditional
Cretan food, served in traditionally earthen plates, together with a sweet smile under the
sounds of Greek music, you can enjoy few hours with Cretan hospitality.
If you prefer the international food, our sef don't deny. A
big variety of foods from the international cook waiting for you, made with 100% Cretan
materials.
In case that you were awake all night or you woke up early
in order to you enjoy the east of helium in the marvelous beach of Gouves, you can stop in
the "MITHOS" for coffee, juice, or one good breakfast.
