 Located in the harbour of Chania, Crete – Address: Kondilaki 35 – "Elmondo Bar" first opened it's doors in the winter of 1981 and is the second oldest bar in the Chania harbour. The nights at Elmondo start off with older rock music – slower and classical pieces from all eras of rock music. The DJ continues with newer rock music and dance pieces according to the crowd’s mood.
The decoration in Elmondo is one of a kind. The walls are full of dollar bills, loads of other currency, caps, t-shirts, photographs and all of them gifts from the customers, having messages and signed from them – leaving their mark in time.
STAFF: Some of the Elmondo staff has been around since the beginning – such as George – and it’s usually the guys that stay quite a few years – Spiros, Kirgiakos. However, the girls change every season.
