G.A. FERRIES Passenger Line company has been established by Mr G. Agoudimos, in 1988, after the purchase of the ferries DALIANA and MILENA. Our vigorous entrance to the passenger line sector was the natural outcome of many years of successful enterprising in seafaring shipping, owning a large fleet. Our passenger ship fleet was subsequently bolstered up with the purchase of the ferries RODANTHI (1990), MARINA (1994), ROMILDA (1994), DIMITROULA (1997), and finally with the high speed JETFERRY 1, in 2000.

G.A. FERRIES has promptly acknowledged the changes in the passenger line sector, as well as the need for increasingly qualitative services, and has accordingly setup and started implementing its new investment plan. Our first step in this direction was the purchase of the ferry ANTHI MARINA in August, 2003, which was set on route upon the Piraeus - Mykonos - Kos - Rhodes line, in the December of the same year. This purchase was made on account of both the passengers increasing requirements, and the specific mooring conditions of the Aegean islands.

Today, the passenger fleet of the company comprises 7 ferries and 1 hi-speed. All of our ships boast fine decoration, high quality of services, well trained crews, and of course increased reliability and high standards of safety.

The ships of GA FERRIES connect daily Piraeus with Ikaria, Samos, Syros, Paros, Naxos, Santorini and the Dodecanese. They also make daily trips between Aghios Konstantinos and the Sporades islands. Besides popular islands, our company always includes in its itineraries islands of the "barren" line (that is islands that are not a common destination, due to their geographical position or their low population density), given that one of our basic principles is to treat all islanders transportation needs with respect, no matter how remote they may be.

Considering the benefits of vertical structure to modern companies, GA FERRIES has proceeded to the creation of a travel agency, GA TRAVEL. Utilizing their experience in coastal navigation with GA FERRIES, the specialized staff of GA TRAVEL are able to provide customised solutions for vacations at various destinations in Greece and abroad. This venture, along with our continual investments in new, hi-tech ships, will give a boost to GA FERRIES business activities and establish it among the leaders of the Greek tourism sector.

Mr. G. Agoudimos group of companies occupies more than 600 employees in the passenger line sector, 80 in seafaring shipping and 100 employees at the group's headquarters, seated at a proprietary building at Piraeus (2 Kantharou st. & Akti Miaouli).
